Luminaire Events is a dynamic live event production company dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences through the art of lighting, AV and scenic. We are passionate about transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary environments that leave a lasting impression. Our team thrives on the creative process, working collaboratively to bring our clients' visions to life. We love what we do because we can turn the unimaginable into reality and there is no better feeling than experiencing our clients’ reactions.

What sets you apart from other production companies?

What sets us apart from other production companies would be our team’s expertise, creativity and attention to detail which ensures each event is uniquely tailored to our clients’ needs, creating a visually stunning and immersive experience. Also, our in-house Scenic Workshop where we design and build anything (literally), with love.

Top tips for choosing the right lighting would be:

• Consider the mood and atmosphere you want to create - different lighting styles, such as warm or cool tones, can significantly impact overall ambiance. 
• Consider the venue’s size, layout, and architectural features - properly designed lighting should complement and enhance the space.
• Embrace energy-efficient lighting solutions!

For the climate conscious party thrower, what are some of the most forward thinking and innovative solutions to keep your waste low?

Luminaire is deeply involved in technical production, and we are really excited about the potential of LED video walls and projection mapping. They add a whole new dimension to stage setups, making them visually stunning and engaging for audiences. Plus, with lighting automation, we can create unique atmospheres that perfectly match the event's mood. We are eager for clients to embrace these technologies, as they promise to elevate their events to a whole new level of awesomeness.

What’s been your most memorable event working with us to date?

Every collaboration with Lucy Vail Floristry team has been memorable, but one that stands out is the opening of the Wine Cellar at The Lanesborough. The synergy between our creative visions along with the other incredible creatives involved, resulted in a truly spectacular atmosphere that left a lasting impact. It was a testament to the power of collaboration and the ability to exceed expectations when like-minded professionals come together.

As leaders in your area, no doubt you have an eye on the trends for this year. What would you, personally, like to see more of? Do you have that one idea that you are desperate for a client to ask you to do?

We are always striving to make our elements in the event as sustainable as possible – using energy-efficient LED lighting, restoring and reusing anything we have built i.e., bars, stages, dj booths, furniture etc.

Share one design/project that you’re working on at the moment that makes you really excited for 2024.

We are incredibly excited about many projects we have coming up this year, it is impossible to pick! We are very fortunate to work with some of the most incredible and world-renowned clients, in fantastic venues both nationally and internationally, on truly exciting projects and getting to work alongside other incredible teams of suppliers.
